As you know, I'm a big proponent of testing and SIM trading. Looks like I'm not alone in the belief that practice can make perfect:

We are in Day 3 of the Workshop and I'm having fun. It took a couple of days to get the traders through a lot of the information they need to be able to create robust algos. We are in the throws of that now and have done some good work.
It was funny. In the midst of one part of today's presentation, my wife looked out the window and there was someone on the farm that looked like they were stealing our mushrooms.
I stopped everything and zoomed out across the back field and it was an old lady with a plastic bag of my chestnuts. I didn't know who it was until I got there, so I had grabbed a pitchfork out of the barn in case he was bigger than I am. The elderly lady was a neighbour from the nearest house south of our property.
I asked her to come to the house next time and say hello before wandering around in the woods, so neither of us got such a surprise. Anyway, she apologised and offered to return the chestnuts, which I gallantly refused and parted as neighbours.
Back to the Workshop.
Charts, please!
ReplyDeleteI go through withdrawal when I don't get my daily EL chart!
Hi EL,
ReplyDeleteI have a question concering the Workshop that you are holding right now. Will it be possible obtain materials of this workshop? I was not able to attend but I am very interested in the material that was presented there...
Is the Workshop being recorded? Will there be a new set of DVDs covering the new material (especially the topic of algos)?
Regards,
Mark
